This goes past the schoolbook Lincoln assassination to the Knights of the Golden Circle, a shadowy Confederate secret society, using forensic geology and ground-penetrating radar to chase hidden tunnels and coded ciphers. I keep one eyebrow permanently raised at the buried-treasure end of this, and I still find the KGC genuinely eerie.
