India 1930: A Colonial Empire Through a Lens
This documentary uses 800 amateur photographs taken by Stanislas Antonowicz to reveal colonial India in 1930. His personal images offer a fresh, intimate view of a subcontinent of some 350 million people under British rule. Through these fragile records, the film explores everyday life and history seen through one traveler's lens. It is a striking window onto a vanished world captured on film.
