Jacques Cousteau was a deep-sea explorer, inventor, documentarian, author, and environmental activist who led many famous expeditions and efforts to understand the ocean. Today on The Daily Dose, Jacques Cousteau. Born in the south of France in1910, young Jacques Cousteau developed a fascination with the ocean, joining the French Naval Academy at age 20, where he aspired to be a naval aviator.
