The World's First Major City to Run out of Water
This documentary tells the story of Cape Town, the first major city to face running out of water during a severe drought that pushed it toward Day Zero. It follows residents living under strict rationing, limited to a handful of litres a day as taps threatened to run dry. The film reveals how a modern metropolis nearly lost its most basic resource. Urgent and cautionary, it is a warning for a warming, thirsty world. Free to watch in HD on Dr Documentary.
