Englischer Garten, Munich: Surfing, Theatre and Brass Bands

The Englischer Garten is one of the largest inner city parks in the world – and one of the most beautiful. As the first national park in Europe, it was laid out over 300 years ago according to the English natural landscape garden ideal – hence the name. Our cinematic journey begins in spring – with the surfers at the Eisbach river. A standing wave in the brook attracts surfers from all over the world. We ride the wave with surfer Ben Müller who shows us his daredevil tricks.
